Looks Like The Real Test
S-iBT was carefully designed to have the same essential layout and controls as the actual TOEFL iBT interface.
- Every type of question is the same, even complicated drag-and-drop questions;
- All sections are timed in the same way as the real test;
- All the same buttons... plus one extra button, "pause." Unlike the real test, we allow you to pause a test and start it again later -- the test will begin right where you last left off. So this means that you can go at your own pace. If you need to stop your test for a while, S-iBT will save your answers for later.
Don't be fooled by cheap computer tests that come on a CD inside a book. The TOEFL iBT has complicated controls that are not easy to replicate. These tests from CDs are nowhere close to being accurate.
A large part of doing well on the TOEFL is becoming familiar with using the interface of the test. You can be sure the S-iBT will look and act just like the real test so you can get comfortable with the TOEFL iBT layout.
