The main founder is an American lawyer who has combined a mastery in interpreting English language text with years of experience with the TOEFL iBT. He worked for a well known American test-prep company for over four years, coordinating the TOEFL program, writing test materials and training all incoming teachers.
The operations manager for S-iBT graduated with honors from a top Ivy League school. He has had years of experience administrating schools and other educational organizations.
S-iBT has been built by a team of programmers using as much HTML5 as possible -- This means we use the latest technology to constantly improve your experience.
While it would have been faster and cheaper to have used ready-made software such as Flash, we feel that this is a quickly dying format. Further, the large limitations of such software would not have allowed S-iBT the flexibility, stability and large feature set that it enjoys today. The S-iBT platform is custom-made, and is ready for the future.
